Sarkodie, birth name Michael Owusu Addo was born On July 10, 1988, in Tema, Ghana. He started rapping at an early age, which launched a lucrative career.

He received a Graphics Design degree from IPMC. Sarkodie is renowned for being a “multifaceted rapper” and for rapping in his native language, Twi.

The Ghanaian celebrity music act gained notoriety and was expected to grow his fan base with the release of his first single, “Baby,” which featured Mugeez of the duet duo R2Bees.
