The Office of the Accountant-General of the Federation Located in Abuja is caught up in flames.
The building, tagged “Treasury House” is located beside the Federal Capital Territory FCT Police Command in Garki, Abuja.
The cause of the fire was not immediately known as workers were at home observing the Government Order on lockdown. However, a combined team of men of the Federal and FCT Fire Services, as well as other security operatives, have to a large extent contain the fire.

the incident affected the accountant-general office and most of the important offices in the building
The fire has however been successfully extinguished by operatives of the fire service
It was gathered that the fire started around the third floor, razing the building upwards including the accountant-general office and most of the important offices.
