UPDATE: US Justice Department Dismiss Hushpuppi $400k Fraud In Prison As Fake

Ramon Olorunwa Abbas aka Hushpuppi reported $400 fraud inside US prison has been confirmed false

US Department of Justice dismissed the report on Thursday in a reaction to the viral news.

Director of Media Relations, United States Attorney’s Office, Central District of California Mrozek Thom told BBC the story was fake.

The department of justice said:
“After we had a look at the documents contained in the recent media accounts, the U.S. Attorney Office in Los Angeles, that filed the case against Mr. Abbas, did not file any such document.

“We have checked with the FBI agent who supposedly authored the document, and he confirmed it is fake.”
The Nigerian Instagram celebrity is in US to face charges and accusations that he conspired to launder Hundreds of Millions of Dollars from business emails.
The charges are compromise, frauds and other scams which include plans to target one U.S law firm, one foreign bank and one English Premier League Soccer club.
Huspuppi is set for court sentencing for these charges on 11 July, 2022.
