Wizkid’s ”Essence” Becomes The Most Shazamed Song In the US

“Essence” is a track from Wizkid’s fourth studio album, “Made in Lagos album”, which has been topping charts across the globe. The song gained even more international recognition after Justin Bieber featured on the “Essence remix” of the track which appears in the “Made In Lagos Deluxe” edition of the MIL album.

Essence has broken another record by becoming the first African most shazamed song on US Shazam. Shazam gave the announcement via their social media page they wrotw; “Big congrats to @wizkidayo!! #Essence is now the most Shazamed song in the United States”
